Few things are more foreboding or punishing than a howling snowstorm. In film, storms and snow are often used as a moody backdrop, or to portray isolation and fear. In tonight's solo-cast, I focus on four films which use snow to great effect- The Shining, The Thing, Akira Kurosawa's Dreams, and Let the Right One In. This episode is brought to you by Isolation.
